Water cured systerm, also named Pipe Repair Bandage which is a resin impregnated glass fibre-reinforced repair tape designed for the repairs and reinforce on damage or corroded pipes. Rolling tape packed into foil Plain bag with putty.

5. RFQ
• Can repairs be done using the bandage only?
Yes, although a combination of Steel Putty along with the bandage should produce a more successful repair.
• Pipe continues to leak - Not wrapped tight enough! Remove old application and reapply Steel Putty followed by a new Pipe Repair Bandage with a tighter and firmer wrap.
• Can be used as permanent repair? Manufacturer recommends this bandage be used only as a temporary repair.
• If the leaking pipe (live line) cannot be isolated, can Pipe Repair bandage still be used?
Yes, it can be used to stem the flow of the pipe leak until an alternative procedure can be completed. Isolating the pipes is the most effective repair however we understand this cannot always be done. In that instance simply turn down the pressure as low as possible when applying Rapp-it.
